I am an assistant professor in the Department of Psychological Science at the University of Arkansas. I study the effects of stress and related factors on cognition and health, as well as the neurobiological mechanisms through which those effects occur.
I did my postdoctoral work with both Amanda E. Guyer in the Teen Experiences, Emotions, & Neurodevelopment Lab and Camelia E. Hostinar in the Social Environment & Stress Lab. During my doctoral studies, I worked under Andrew P. Yonelinas in the Human Memory Lab and was secondarily advised by Brian C. Trainor in the Behavioral Neuroendocrinology Lab. I was also informally trained by George M. Slavich at the UCLA Laboratory for Stress Assessment and Research. I received my Ph.D. from U.C. Davis in 2019.
